Productions

WCIP develops original natural-history productions and collaborates with filmmakers, production companies, researchers and conservation organisations to tell ambitious stories about the world’s wild cats.

Our work is built from the field upwards — combining long-term access, specialist camera trapping, scientific collaboration and cinematic storytelling to capture behaviour and landscapes that are rarely seen.

From standalone films and digital series to specialist remote sequences for larger productions, WCIP focuses on stories that are visually powerful, scientifically grounded and meaningful beyond the screen.

What we bring to productions

WCIP combines field production with specialist remote imaging capability, allowing projects to operate beyond the limits of conventional filming.

Scouting and Location Access

Strong wildlife production starts long before the cameras are rolling. Knowing where to work, when to be there and who to work alongside can make the difference between simply visiting a landscape and genuinely understanding it.

WCIP supports productions with location research, field scouting, site assessment and logistical planning, helping identify areas with the strongest potential for particular species, behaviours and sequences.

Through relationships with researchers, conservation organisations and local field teams, we can also help productions connect with the people who already understand these landscapes — bringing valuable knowledge of animal movements, seasonal activity, access routes and field conditions into the planning process.

Where appropriate, WCIP can continue that support in the field, assisting with reconnaissance, camera placement and establishing the infrastructure needed for longer-term filming.

Professional Level Cinematography

WCIP deploys high-quality remote camera systems designed to capture broadcast-ready wildlife behaviour over extended periods.

From mirrorless camera traps to specialist triggering, power and weatherproofing systems, we build setups around the species, location and sequence required.

Research-Led Production

Our productions are strengthened by the people who understand the species and landscape best.

WCIP works alongside researchers and conservation organisations to provide scientific context, specialist knowledge and access to meaningful ongoing work, helping productions tell more credible and distinctive stories.
