The Wild Cat Imaging Project is the flagship programme of the Wild Felid Conservation Trust, created to document and protect wild cat species through a unique combination of scientific research and visual storytelling. Using advanced camera trapping systems, including both trail cameras and DSLR camera traps, WCIP works to capture rare imagery and valuable ecological data on some of the world’s most elusive felids.

By collaborating with researchers, NGOs, and conservation partners, the project helps uncover how wild cats use their habitats, while also bringing their hidden lives to a wider audience. Through striking imagery, field research, and collaborative conservation, WCIP aims to bridge the gap between science and public engagement, inspiring greater awareness, stronger support, and meaningful action for wild cat conservation.
